Premiership newcomers, Bechem Chelsea have secured the services of Liberty Professionals' assistant Coach, Nii Noi Thompson as its head coach, for next season's league.
According to the Board chairman of Tema Youth, who is also the bank roller of Chelsea, Mr. Emmanuel Kyeremeh, the move was to beef up the club's technical team.
"His work at Liberty is enough evidence that he has what it takes to continue the good works of those who qualified the team to the premiership, he has already started training with the team as I speak with you," he told The Chronicle Sports on cell phone yesterday.
Chelsea qualified to the premiership alongside Eleven Wise and St. Mirren. The club is also co-owned by former football stars, Messrs Tony Yeboah and Arthur Moses.
