Kickoff (Cape Town)

Ex-Ghana international Anthony Yeboah will take a more active role in Ghana football after becoming board chairman of newly promoted Premier League side Bechem Chelsea.
The ex-Leeds, Hamburg and Frankfurt forward has acquired a 40 per cent stake in the Brong Ahafo based club and now takes over as is board chairman ahead of the club's debut season in the Ghanaian top flight.
Yeboah has concentrated largely on his hotel business since he quit football in 2002 but is now set for a return to the game with Berekum Chelsea.
The club is hoping Yeboah's vast experienced gathered from his playing days in Germany where he was twice top scorer, England, the Arab World and his Black Stars stint will help them survive their first stay in the top flight.
One of Yeboah's first duties is to convince Liberty Professionals assistant Nii Moi Thompson to swap Accra for the BA this season.
Thompson is negotiating a deal with the club to become their head coach and Yeboah is hoping an agreement can be reached by the close of the weekend.
