Kampala — IRONY is some force and one just has to look at its latest installment in the shape of Tornado against ACC in the Castle Lager Super Six to understand that.
Tornado will clinch the 2008 league crown if they beat ACC at Kyambogo today.
But as ACC directly benefited from the legendary decision to strip Tornado of the 2007 league title for failing to pay its subscription on time, Tornado couldn't ask for a better route to a last laugh. "Not necessarily," argued Tornado skipper Keith Legesi.
"We'll take this game like any other and our focus will be to grind out a result and win the league."
Tornado have the perfect opportunity to remind anyone who might have forgotten that they actually won the 2007 championship by defeating the side later named champions after a boardroom decision. ACC are fighting against relegation and need victory in one of their two games to survive.
