Angola: Premier Congratulated By Mozambican Counterpart

Luanda — The prime minister of Angola, António Paulo Kassoma, was congratulated by his Mozambican colleague, Luísa Dias Diogo, in a message that was recently handed over.

According to the communiqué made available to ANGOP this Friday, in her message, the prime minister of Mozambique refers that "the nomination to this great task is a sign of the trust attributed to his Excellency for the engagement and contribution in favour of development, prosperity and wellbeing of the Angolan population".

It adds that António Paulo Kassoma's appointment as prime minister, "the country will proceed with the efforts it has been inserting with view to achieve a brilliant future of peace, prosperity and development".

In her message, the Mozambican official reiterated the "will to work together in order to reinforce and consolidate the excellent relations of brotherhood, friendship and solidarity existing between both countries and peoples, established in the common past of colonial domination, in the national liberation struggle and, presently, in interchange within the PALOP, SADC, CPLP, African Union and the UN.
