Luanda — The politburo of the ruling MPLA party Friday here once again thanked the Angolan people for the vote of trust placed in the party in the legislative election held last September, assuring that "it will do its outmost" for the fulfilment of the governance programme submitted to people choice.

This commitment is part of the final communiqué of the tenth ordinary meeting of the politburo of the country's ruling party, chaired by its president, José Eduardo dos Santos, who analysed the project of general regulation on MPLA distinctions system, as well as reflections about the holding of the Sixth Ordinary Congress of the party.

During the session was also analysed the assessment report on the electoral process concerning last September legislative polls, and the participants expressed rejoice for the attained results.

According to the source, there was also analysed a set of documents to be submitted to the next meeting of the party's Central Committee, among other issues linked to the country's internal life.
