Angola: New Facilities of Criminal Investigation Department Ready in December

Luanda — The new facilities of Luanda's provincial command of the National Police and of the provincial criminal investigation department (DPIC) shall be handed over this year, according to the minister of Home Affairs, Roberto Leal Monteiro "Ngongo".

Speaking to the press at the end of a visit paid to the premises, the minister said that he is pleased with the progress of the works, although there is a slight delay in the handing over deadline.

Roberto Leal Monteiro "Ngongo" said that the facility (ex-DNOI), situated at Deolinda Rodrigues Avenue, corresponds to the necessities of the Luanda's provincial command of the National Police and of the provincial criminal investigation department.

On the other hand, the official revealed that a building for the National Criminal Investigation Department (DNIC) is being built and the construction of a laboratory is in the final phase, an important component for this organ of the National Police.
