Kampala — COMMONWEALTH Youth Games 5000m gold medalist Moses Kibet is the Uganda telecom/USPA sports personality of the month of October A sports scribes monthly meeting handed him the award after a 705 to 695 vote over his only challengers Independence Rally champion crew of Ashraf Ahmed and navigator Musa Nsubuga.
The meeting also commended Titus Tugume, table tennis champion Paul Mutambuze, body builder Ivan Byekwaso and Cranes striker Geoffrey Massa.
After a lecture on motorsport conducted by United Motorsport Club official Justin Mungoma at Oasis Restaurant Lugogo, a new executive was confirmed, with Mark Namanya bouncing back as president Douglas Mazune's deputy.
