Kampala — Simba SC coach Sam Ssimbwa has said Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) are not a threat to his team's title ambitions.
Simba visit URA at Namboole in a highly anticipated Super League fixture tomorrow.
Going by recent performances, both teams are in top form and their clash is expected to be very explosive. "I have watched URA play and they are really a good side. But they should know we are the table leaders and we want to maintain our status. This can only be done by beating whoever comes our way," said Ssimbwa. Adding; "URA will not survive."
The likes of Eric Obua, Patrick Ochan, Dan Wagaluka, Martin Muwanga and Tony Mawejje have made URA a formidable side that looks good to beat anyone in the league.
The two-time champions URA have had an impressive run, amassing 26 points in 12 games and are ranked third in the 18-team table while Simba are top with 31 points from the same number of games.
Simba have not lost an away game this season and Ssimbwa is very confident his team's record won't be broken by URA. Simba's charges have recorded victory in 10 away fixtures.
Their season's first loss (1-2) came at the hands of Police while they were held 1-all by lowly Sharing FC at Bombo. Last year's fixtures between Simba and URA ended in stalemates (1-1 and 2-2).
