Nairobi — A NEW YORK PAPER, THE Daily Challenge, recently observed that African-Americans will vote on November 4, for all ". . . the deceased ancestors, relatives and non-relatives . . . [and] the millions who did not live to see this day."
The right to vote that African-Americans enjoy today, which will, in all probability, enable them to help elect Senator Barack Obama as US President, was denied them for centuries -- first through slavery, and later through legally-sanctioned racism and discrimination.
