Ghana U-20 international Abeiku Quansah has signed a three-year professional contract with French club Nice.
The 18-year-old had been joined the club since last year but could not sign a deal because he was a minor.
Quansah turned 18 on Sunday which prompted the club to hand him the professional deal.
"I am thrilled about this deal because it opens my hopes of playing in the French top league," Quansah said.
The midfielder, who was in Ghana's U-17 squad at the recent World Cup in August, joined the club's youth academy last December.
He had been training with the senior team of the club and he is now available for selection by the French Ligue One side.
