Angola: National Team Summoned on Friday

Luanda — The national senior males football team dubbed "Palancas Negras (black antelopes)" which on November 19 will face Venezuela, in Caracas city, for a friendly match of another FIFA date, shall be revealed next Friday, in Luanda.

ANGOP learnt this Tuesday from an official source that the caretaker coach Mabi de Almeida will announce the players to be part of the national squad during a press conference, to be held as from 11am at the meeting hall of the Angolan Football Federation (FAF).

Mabi de Almeida, appointed as the caretaker coach after the sacking of Oliveira Gonçalves, managed the "Palancas Negras" in October in their 3-1 win over Niger, in the last round of the first phase qualifier to the African Cup of Nations and World Cup of 2010.
