Uganda: Samuel Baker School to Be Rehabilitated

Kampala — THE education ministry has called for bids for the development of infrastructure at Sir Samuel Baker Secondary School in Gulu.

According to a notice from the permanent secretary, Francis Lubanga, Belgium through the Belgian Technical Cooperation (BTC) and the Government have raised funds for rehabilitation and extension of the school.

The school, which used to be among the best in the country, has been affected by the 20-year civil war in the northern region.

Tender documents cost sh200,000 and bank payment forms are available from the fifth floor of Embassy House.

The documents can be collected from the procurement and disposal unit's principal procurement officer.
