Luanda — An exhibition of 60 photos, leaflets with carvings and films on biodiversity is open to the public since this Wednesday to January 04, 2009, at the National Museum of Natural History.
The exhibition dubbed "The abysms", promoted by the oil firm Total E&P Angola in collaboration with the National Museum of Natural History, includes images of organisms that live in the dark and in deep ocean such as the "Octopus with luminous " among others.
Tickets to the halls are priced at 500 Angolan Kwanzas, according to the press release from Total, which was delivered to ANGOP, with the exception of students, teachers and researchers with documents.
The note reads that the money raised from the sales of tickets shall be used in social and scientific activities in favour of the National Museum of Natural History.
The exhibition was also displayed in Paris (France) and in Hong Kong (Japan).
