Luanda — The Angolan president, José Eduardo dos Santos, on Tuesday here set up a task team assigned to elaborate the Executive Housing Programme of the Government, in order to satisfy one of the pressing needs of the country.

The group is tasked with drafting the project of the programme, the contract and the master-lines for the re-planning and development of the cities and villages, identifying the resources and the tools to guarantee the funding, as well as the incentives for the growth of the housing sector.

Coordinated by the minister of Urbanism and Housing, having as assistant the director of the Office of National Reconstruction, the group also includes the economic advisers to the President of the Republic and to the Prime Minister, representatives from the ministries of Planning, Finance, Public Works, Territorial Administration and Environment.
