Uganda: Kibaale Pastor Sits Primary Exams

Kampala — A 40-year-old pastor is one of the pupils who sat for the recently-ended Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE). Pr. Bahati of Kijangi Christ the King Church in Kibaale said his children, who passed PLE well last year, inspired him.

The children did the exams under the Universal Primary Education programme. Bahati and another 27-year-old man, Amos Turyatunga, went to Rwembuba Primary School.

The headteacher, Bernard Lutaaya, said the two had been well-behaved pupils the whole year they were at the school.

Bahati said he wanted to take advantage of free education to further his education after serving God for several years.
