Luanda — The Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, this Thursday here received a message from his counterpart of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, in which he invites the Angolan President to visit that Middle East country.
José Eduardo dos Santos received the invitation during the audience he granted to the Iranian deputy minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammad Reza Bagheri.
Speaking to the press, after the audience, Mohammad Bagheri said that in the message the Iranian President also expresses his country's desire to maintain cooperation ties with Angola.
He explained that this cooperation should be focussed on the sectors of economy, education, culture, energy, and housing, among others.
Iran is a Middle East country that has Tehran as the capital city.
