Angola: Students Should Deepen Knowledge on National Liberation Struggle

Malanje — The deputy minister of Culture, Cornélio Caley, this Thursday urged, in northern Malanje province, students and various personalities linked to research to deepen studies on the emerging of the liberation movement for the national independence.

The official, who was speaking during a workshop on the topic "The seekers of national independence", referred the national liberation movement demands from students and entities specialised in culture a deep studies in order to build the historic bases for future generations.

He considered to theme "seekers of the national independence", as the dimension of culture in the liberation movement.

The symbol of statues in pre-colonial societies, creation of kingdoms, confrontation between colonial authorities, occupation in the V century, dates of effective occupation, the triumph og the colonial idea, national liberation wars, are some of the subjects analysed at the gathering.
