According to the official, a total of 3,000 students benefited from scholarship this ending academic year.

Jesus Baptista stated that within the framework of the new Inabe tasks, all applicants will be submitted to test.

"We will be strict in following up the internal and external students, but we will create all conditions for them to study without any constraint," he stated.

He also stated that applicants to university scholarship shall be 22 to 35 years of age, with priorities to subjects most required for national reconstruction like education, medicine and engineering.

According to Inabe director, granting of scholarships is mainly intended to eliminate imbalances existing between the provinces concerning training of personnel at medium and higher levels.

He also announced that a workshop will be run next year to analyse how best scholarship students can be assisted and exchange views with teachers from other countries, with a view to contributes that enable Angola to have a big potential in trained personnel within five to ten years.
