Luanda — The Angolan international referees Carlos Júlio and David Manuel were appointed by FIBA-Africa to accompany the Angolan teams in the competition that qualify for the final phase of the champions clubs cup to be disputed from 15 to 22 November, in Zambia, ANGOP learnt last Saturday in Luanda.
The chairman of the central council for referees of the ceasing board of the Angolan Basketball Federation (FAB), Soares de Campos, is one of commissioners appointed for this competition, while Carlos Júlio will follow the African champions, 1º de Agosto, and David Manuel will accompany Atlético Sport Aviação (ASA).
Besides the two Angolan referees appointed for this event, Angola also has five international referees, namely Domingos Simão, Fernando Pacheco, Iracelmo Pinto, Osvaldo Fernandes and António Bernardo.

Besides the Angolan senior males basketball teams of 1º de Agosto and ASA, Hetro Bullets and Heroes Play from Nigeria, JBC, Riderz from Zimbabwe, Ferroviário de Maputo and Ferroviário da Beira from Mozambique have already confirmed their presence.
