Luanda — The basketball male senior team of "Atlético Sport Aviação " (ASA) Friday in Luanda won the 11 November tournament, after defeating 1º de Agosto by 81-77.

In the first half, ASA was winning by six points (39-33). The team coached by Carlos Diniz performed better in defending and attacking.

In their turn, 1º de Agosto that were using only nine players of the national team - nine time African winner - failed to prevent ASA from winning.

With 19 points, Joquim Gomes "Kikas" was the match best scorer, followed by Afonso Rodrigues (17), Olímpio Cipriano and José Santos with 14 and 13, respectively.

ASA's athlete, Rodrigues Afonso was the fair-play man, and Olímpio Cipriano the best player, both having received a trophy.

Interclube hold the third position, after the victory over "Misto de Cabinda" by 82 -76.

The competition was sponsored by the Luanda provincial association of Basketball.
