Uganda: 'Big Trouble in the City'

Kampala — NATIONAL super lightweight professional boxing champion Solomon Bogere returns to action this weekend in a 10-round non-title contest with Kenyan fighter Kennedy Odhiambo.

Bogere, who hit professional headlines in August after dethroning Patrick Musana, will highlight an evening featuring six under cards at Sabrinas Pub. The fight has been dubbed "Big trouble in the small city."

"Expect fireworks. If Odhiambo is not at the peak of his form, he is in trouble," warned Quraish Walusimbi, one of the event's organisers . Professional Boxing Commission presidential aspirant Salim Uhuru, vehicle dealers CM Enterprises, JBL & Sons and Samona have sponsored the event.
