Kampala — WITH Tornado having won the national Super Six cricket league last week, the focus has shifted to the Plate league and the race for promotion, which is between KICC, Kutchimadu and to a very remote extent Patidar.

The latter pair face-off today at Kyambogo with second-on-the-table Kutchimadu looking to simultaneously put Patidar out of contention and cut the distance between themselves and leaders KICC to three points.

Anything but a Kutchimadu win and KICC will almost certainly be sure of promotion to the top division.

Patidar will only pip KICC if they win their two remaining fixtures with mammoth scores and KICC lose to CDT next week.
