Luanda — The chairperson of the National Union of Artists and Composers (UNAC), Arnaldo Calado, affirmed Monday in Luanda, that the status and legacy of the late musician Teta Lando, stimulated the society to listen extensively to the voice of the cultural association.
Arnaldo Calado made such statement, when talking to UNAC associates, after the sworn in of the new management body elected last October 24th at the Congress palace.
According to the UNAC's chairman, the former executive accustomed the people to know that behind the artist voice was an association that fights for its creator's interests.
The UNAC's chairperson revealed to be happy to hug companions, with whom he has shared musical sounds, song lyrics and unique recordings, which he will never forget.
Arnaldo Calado said that he witnessed the golden years of the Angolan arts during the seventies, either in music, dance and theatre, as well as enjoyed the release of new artists through the broadcasting of programmes in the Angola National Radio (RNA) and Angola
Public Television (TPA), of which are highlighted musicians like Mamborró, Fausto, Yuri da Cunha, Lucas de Brito and Gingas do Maculusso.
