Tunis — President Ben Ali received on Monday Sheikh Ali Al Jarrah Al Sabah, Vice Minister in charge of cabinet affairs and special envoy of the Emir of Kuwait, who conveyed to the Head of State a message from Sheikh Sabah El Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait.
The special envoy declared following the meeting, that the message includes an invitation to President Ben Ali to take part in the Arab Economic, Social, Development Summit, due to be held in Kuwait early 2009.
He added that he had conveyed to the Head of State the greetings of the Emir of Kuwait, as well as those of the political leadership of the brotherly country.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of State , special advisor to the President of the Republic and official spokesman of the Presidency of the Republic, and the Kuwaiti Ambassador in Tunis.
