Ghana: Greater Accra Hockey Knockout

10 November 2008

A highly uncompromising game is expected to rock the Theodosia Oko Pitch this Saturday when giants CEPS and Exchequers clash in the semis.

Described as the final before the final, CEPS shrugged off Golden Sticks' threat after a 0-0 stalemate game and beat them 4-1 on penalties in the quarter final last Saturday.

Exchequers on the other hand, had a less daunting task when they thrashed Real Ambassadors 5-0. Trustees qualified to play the winner of the CEPS-Exchequers game in the final after beating Marine Sticks 5-1 on penalties.

The Police-Reformers game was cancelled following the exercising of their franchise ahead of the December 7 general elections.
