Namibia: Koep & Partners Joins Top U.S. Legal Outfit

11 November 2008

Law firm Koep & Partners pipped all other Namibian legal practices when it was chosen to join the prestigious US-based Lex Mundi, a leading global association of independent law companies.

Through this association, Koep & Partners will have "access to more than 21 000 lawyers practising in 160 elite law firms across the globe", the Namibian firm said last week.

"Represented by just one firm per country, these premier independent law firms provide legal representation and local market knowledge practically anywhere in the world."

Lex Mundi prides itself on inviting the most prominent and successful law firms to its association, in order to comply with the profile of the Lex Mundi member and to uphold the high professional standards and the mark of excellence that Lex Mundi provides.

Koep & Partners said that after undergoing a rigorous assessment and a thorough and comprehensive evaluation of all aspects of its services, structures, systems and professional capacity, in competition with other law firms in Namibia, the law firm was invited to join this "top notch organisation and to serve as the local link to this vast network of legal practitioners".

Koep & Partners was also selected in 2001 as the Namibian law firm to become a member of Lex Africa, a network for African lawyers.

Senior partner Peter F. Koep said these developments are an honour and an acknowledgement of the quality, range and depth of the legal services the company offers its clients and as further motivation to continue providing excellent professional legal advice and support of the highest order.
