Uganda: Seven Win Stanbic Bank Fuel

Kampala — SEVEN firms have won fuel vouchers worth sh500,000 each in the on-going Stanbic Bank 'current account business' promotion.

The winners in the eight-month-long promotion include Opiman Uganda, Basomesa Investments, Lina Pharmacy of Masaka, Bemonyero Investments, Zenith Civil and Water Engineers, Senasa Distributors and Muhereza Services.

Fred Mugisha, the bank's personal and business banking manager, said the overall winner would take home a pick-up truck.

He said to enter the draw one has to open a current account with sh100,000 for Kampala residents and sh50,000 for upcountry people.

The promotion that started last month ends on November 29.

One of the winners, Henry Muhereza of Muhereza Services based in Kigumba in Masindi said he would use money he to boost his busness.

"I will inject this money into my business because it is too much to be to be used to buy fuel only.

He thanked Stanbic Bank for coming up with initiatives to reward customers.
