Kampala — SPORT-S Volleyball Club men underlined their credentials for the league title with a convincing 3-0 victory over Nkumba University in the first leg of the semifinal play-offs Sunday.

The result put Sport-S one win away from the finals in the best of three series.

Defending champions KAVC made a false start as they fell to KCC in the other men's encounter.

Another win for KCC in the second leg on November 21 will put off KAVC.

KAVC Veterans women beat Ndejje University to remain on course for the final against holders KCC.
