Uganda: Country Hosts Water Meet

Kampala — The National water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) is hosting water experts from across Africa at a five-day water and waste management summit.

The forum is meant to enhance effective partnerships in water and waste management on the continent.

The meeting, which started yesterday at the NWSC centre, has attracted participants from Kenya, Tanzania, Burundi, Zambia and Nigeria.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, NWSC chief David Kakuba said the event was proof of Uganda's successful bid to overhaul its water and sewerage management.
