Uganda/Cameroon: Cameroon to Defend Army Title

Kampala — CAMEROON will defend their title when eight army teams do battle in Kampala in the Continental Military Soccer Cup (CAMFOOT) from December 1.

The competition, sanctioned by the continental soccer governing body CAF, has attracted Uganda, South Africa, Algeria, Cameroon, Guinea, Congo, Rwanda and Gambia.

The military football competition, which takes place every two years, started in 1994 in Burkina Faso and then moved to Rwanda, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Mali and Cameroon in 2006.
