Eritrea: Citizens Living in Lebanon, Syria And Jordan Laud the Eritrean Government's Substantial Investment in Education

Asmara — Eritrean citizens living in Lebanon, Syria and Jordan lauded the Eritrean government's substantial investment in academic education and vocational training aimed at nurturing dynamic youths.

In separate meetings they held from October 29 to November 9 focusing on the prevailing situation in the Homeland, the region and the world at large, the nationals stated that noticeable achievement is being registered in the investment made to develop education. They also expressed conviction that the graduates from various colleges and technical schools would provide additional impetus to the national development drive.

The Eritrean Consul General in Lebanon, Mr. Yahya Humed Hali, gave briefings to the participants on the ongoing development programs. He outlined the major development programs being implemented across the country through the coordinated efforts of the people, Government and members of the Defense Force. Mr. Yahya called on Eritrean nationals residing abroad to enhance their contribution so as to register still greater achievements.

Expressing satisfaction with the implementation of all-round development programs, the participants of the meeting reiterated readiness to fulfill what is expected of them.
