Angola: Brazilian Humorist Show Postponed

Luanda — The show of the Brazilian humorist, Renato Piaba, that was to take place Wednesday in Luanda's "Belas Shopping", has been postponed as the artist delayed to arrive in the Angolan capital.

According to the Association of Brazilian Businesses and Executives in Angola, (Aebran), sponsoring the show, the postponement of the event that is part of the "Brazil Week" programme, was due to the Rio de Janeiro-Luanda flight's 24- hour delay.

The organisation said that the show will take place as planned as soon as all conditions are put in place.

Renato Piaba, who came second in the contest attended by 44 of Brazil's best humorists, will be joining Brazilian singer, Elba Ramalho and the Axé Azuada band, that are part of the cultural component of the "Semana do Brasil em Angola" programme, taking place since November 4 and going until 15 the same month.

With a 11-year career, Renato Piaba (51), is a graduate in Physical Education.
