Lubango — The governor of the southern Huíla province, Isaac do Anjos, Tuesday in Lubango city, called on youths for collaboration in the reconstruction process under way in the country, with a view to solve their problems instead of counting only on the government for tackling their plights.
Isaac dos Anjos, who was addressing a rally, in the light of the 33rd anniversary of the National Independence, celebrated Tuesday, recalled that the resolution of the pressing issues affecting the youths is among his executive's priorities.
The government of Huíla will define the zones for construction of residences as well as granting plots of lands for directed self-construction, in order to cater for the young people, noted the governor, who pledged to continue committed to the academic training of youths.
He also pledged the construction of more abstraction, treatment and distribution centres of drinking water, for local residents.
The event that was marked by the first presence of the governor gathered government officials, church leaders, political party representatives, among others.
