A RESIDENT of Windhoek's Greenwell Matongo settlement is alleged to have stabbed his girlfriend to death at their home on Sunday morning before taking his own life.
Police were summoned to Katutura's infamous Eveline Street at around 06h15 to collect the body of the man identified as Titus Ipinge, who had been found hanging from a tree by community members.
Less than two hours later, a second call to the Police was made after neighbours of Ipinge's girlfriend, Willemien Shigwedha, found her body in the couple's shack.
Shigweda had been stabbed multiple times.
