Angola: President Sets up Task Team for Requalification of Cazenga District

Luanda — Angolan Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, this Thursday here created a task team meant to join efforts of the government, private sector and of the civil society for the implementation of the Requalification Project of Cazenga district, in Luanda.

According to a press release from the Services of Assistance to the President, distributed in Luanda, the group is being co-ordinated by Aguinaldo Jaime, of the National Private Investment Agency, including representatives of the Ministries of Urbanisation and Housing, of Public Works and of Environment, as well as of the provincial government of Luanda.

In this project, the private sector is being represented by the consortium GEOSAT7 Lda, COIM'VEIS, Lda firms, which are owners of updated Technologies of quick construction, being DAR-EL-HANDASH, consultant and designer, apart from the National Trade Bank (BNI).

The civil society is being represented by the Association of Intellectuals of Cazenga, equally reads the note, having stressed that for the fulfilment of the duties, the task team should established its internal organisation and means of operation, mobilise, in the country and abroad, the necessary financial resources, and needing to regularly inform the Head of State on its performance.
