Sierra Leone: Country Above Partisan Politics, Says Koroma

Abdul Karim Koroma

12 November 2008

President Ernest Bai Koroma yesterday said at Head of State that the people of Sierra Leone are determined to rise above partisan politics in a bid to work hard and sustain the country's peace and democracy.

"This is the legacy we hope to bequeath to our children," he said.

President Koroma made this statement while welcoming the new ambassadors of Japan and Guinea Bissau to Sierra Leone in two separate ceremonies at State House.

He expressed delight in receiving the letter of credence from the Japanese ambassador Keiichi Katakami and the government of Japan for the keen interest over recent developments in Sierra Leone.

"We are aware that the nations of the world are caught up today in the current global financial crisis coming in the wake of rising food and fuel costs. The task ahead now is how to ensure the availability of food stuff to our people at affordable cost... That is why we heartily welcome all the assistance provided by the international community and particularly friendly countries such as yours," the Head of State recalled.

The President said the issues that bind Sierra Leone and Guinea Bissau together are deeply rooted in the countries history and tradition.

"These shared values, more than ever, continue to distinguish us as brotherly nations, rekindle our minds to stronger friendly ties and create a bond that will continue to grow in the years ahead."

He said: "The project to urgently improve the supply of electricity in Freetown is well underway. In addition, [an] agreement was signed in August on food aid to be delivered to Sierra Leone. To address the needs of [the] rural population, JICA has been formulating development models on the ground to be replicated nationwide, in areas of agriculture, water supply, healthcare and communal education. In the area of capacity building, 239 Sierra Leonean nationals have been invited to Japan so far to receive technical training."

Meanwhile, the President had an outdoor engagement as he travelled to the APC headquarters and parliament building where he and his Vice President led in signing the books of condolence for the late APC MP Cecil Osho-Williams who died after a short illness recently.

The love of one's country of birth ought to be like a protein embeded in our gene. that kind of attitude and principles to encourage that must be taught in our schools. I would like the president to engage his minister of education so as to include PATRIOTISM in the school curriculum.

Toxic bunkum from the head of the occupier, criminal soupist APC thug party, similar to its twin, the SLPP.

I have said it time and again: and I say it now////soupism is the house of thieves, degenerates, Nietzsches's last men and women.

Listen you soupists NAR SALONE and those marooned in the "West": Your lie, lie rivalry will fool only a boneheaded observer: there are no policy differences between those two houses of criminals.

Same soup, same bita tase.

Patriotism, EBK, grand soupist, presupposes a NATION. Under the narrative of the DOCTRINE OF SOUPISM Sierra Leone is not,… [Read Full Text]

The soupist head of the criminal occupier APC, EBK is at it again: he now acknowleges that the treasury was raided in a contract. Now, normally---no soupist is normal, especially, a soupist head---a responsible government will seek contractual remedies. Normally.

Not so, says soupist EBK. The cheap rhetorical trope of denunciation, similar to his silly claptrap of "attitudinal change," is put in play. Silly beyond silly.

No wonder soupist occupied Sierra Leone is country number zero (CNZ). Soon, una go eat grass for res.

As I have stated thunderously and nauseatingly in this site… [Read Full Text]

Soupist Journalism: the strange case of Sylvia Blyden and Kabbs Kanu, soupists tout court. _________________________

Don't you find it interesting that the soupist rag of one Kabbs Kanu, Cocorioko, and that of another soupist, Sylvia Blyden, The Awareess Times, are now colloborating. Soupism in action, I suppose.

The AWT is down; yet, it advises, despite the tsunamic mamy cussing between the named Kabbs Kanu and the named Sylvia Blyden that rocked the soupist rags in April of this year, 'readers' to visit Cocorioko.

Ms. Bylden, you fool no one but yourself: you closed your Forum under… [Read Full Text]

THE GRAND SOUPIST OF THE CRIMINAL SOUPIST APC CONFIRMS THE DOCTRINE OF SOUPISM.

By calling for post-partisan politics, the soupist head of the occupier government constituted by the soupist APC, a criminal entity, confirms that there are NO political parties in soupist occupied Sierra Leone.

Bra, EBK: APC en SlPP, una na ONE, OR DO YOU think we are so naive that this truth, which you have endeavored, you and your predecessors in infamy: Milton, Margai, Steven, Momoh, and the buffoon Kabba, have struggled to efface will not bring you and your fellow soupists in planet infamy DOWN,… [Read Full Text]
