Luanda — Angola's prime minister, António Paulo Kassoma, this Thursday here discussed with the ambassador of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, Toufik Dahamani, matters relating to the strengthening of cooperation relations between the two countries.
On the sidelines of the audience with the Angolan premier, the Algerian diplomat handed over a message of the prime minister of his country, Ahmed Ouyahia, in which he congratulates Paulo Kassoma on his nomination to the post.
Speaking to journalists, the ambassador said he reiterated to his interlocutor the interest of Algerian authorities to improve cooperation ties with Angola.
He added that under the joint commission between both countries, agriculture, trade and health were selected as the areas of cooperation.
Toufik Dahamani stated that the meeting also served to balance the historic friendship and solidarity relations between the two States and peoples and plan their reinforcement.
