Kampala — Erute south MP John Odit has demanded an explanation from the ministries of health and agriculture regarding what has been done to contain the outbreak of sleeping sickness.
Odit told Parliament that there was an outbreak of sleeping sickness in the north and eastern Uganda.
He wondered why the concerned ministries were silent about the epidemic which is affecting the two regions gravely.
He challenged the concerned ministries to address the problem.
