Kampala — CELESTINO Mindra, has not ruled out running once again for the presidency of Uganda Professional Boxing Commission top seat for a fourth term.

Mindra, who has been at the helm of the professional boxing body since 1998 is contemplating vying for the position, but only after seeking advice from his lawyers on whether to stand or not.

"I will have to seek advice and consult my lawyers to see whether I am still eligible to stand once again," the UPBC president said. "If it is not possible then I will endorse the most suitable candidate."

Salim Uhuru, the only candidate, who has declared his intentions wanted to see the constitution after hearing a rumour that the commission had created two of them.

Simon Mukisa, however insisted that there was only one. Mukisa, said only paid up members will be eligible to vote come the assembly. As per constitutional, UPBC levies a none refundable fee on those wishing to contest.
