There appears to be a light at the end of the tunnel as Rangers FC management have confirmed that soon they would release the sign-on fees for Rangers players for the on-going season, reports Kate Obodo.
The Glo Premier League is in the 10th week today and only a handful of clubs have managed to pay 25 percent of players sign-on fees.
Rangers Technical Adviser Christain Chukwu revealed this piece of information when he told Saturday Vanguard that the players will soon be paid their sign-on fees.
"The provision for the payment will be made as soon as possible. The management is aware of the players plight and the are doing everything possible to ensure that the players are paid in no distance time", he said.
"Normally before any transfer is carried out ,at least 25 percent payment of the sign-on fees would have been made but the situation at the point is different and I believe very soon they will be paid", he added On the complain from players over the non-chalant attitude of the management towards payment of the sign-on fees, Chukwu said players will definitely complain about things like sign-on fees and anything that involves their finacial entitlement but stressed that one thing is sure, and that is, the players will soon be paid.
