Tunis — On the occasion of the anniversary of the proclamation of the Palestinian State, President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali conveyed a message of congratulations to President Mahmoud Abbas, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestinian Liberation Organisation (PLO) and President of the Palestinian National Authority.

In his message, the Head of State reiterates his unflinching support to the just Palestinian cause, as well as his constant support to the Palestinian people in its heroic struggle to recover most of its legitimate rights and the edification on its land, of an independent State.
