Nigeria: Poor ICT Infrastructure, Bane of Market Growth in Country

The Finnish-German Mobile network company, Nokia Siemens Networks which believes that its "advantages of scale, leading brand, superior logistics, low cost and broad product portfolio are competitive advantages that will enable us to distinguish ourselves from the competition in a challenging 2009" is focussing on connecting Nigeria through its wide array of products specifically designed for emerging markets.

At a one day industry seminar it hosted in Lagos last week, the Nokia Siemens Network had market experts and stakeholders in the mobile communications industry discuss the future and shed light on how to grow connectivity and revenues.
