Angola: Humoristic Show Delights Luanda Dwellers at Karl Marx Cinema

Luanda — The "Tuneza" group of humorists drew loud bursts of laughter from the audience on Thursday evening, during the satirical show in which several scenes about the daily lives of Angolans were presented at Karl Marx cinema.

The show that started 09pm, included performances by local musicians like Ary and Big Nelo, depict in a satirical manner some scenes of the Public Television Station (TPA)'s programme dubbed "Sexolândia".

During humoristic show, the artists performed five theatrical plays and imitated songs by national and foreign musicians, like that of the Angolan Matias Damásio and of the Capev Verdean Cesária Évora.

The humoristic group comprising Zezalti Maiato, Jumario Vemba, José Chieta, Orlando Rodrigues and Daniel Vilola enlivened the public until 11:30 pm.

Speaking to ANGOP, José Chieta said that the event aimed at allowing the public to perform more during shows.

Founded five years ago and with a CD entitled "Humor ao Domicílio (domiciliary humour)", the "Tuneza" group has been presenting the "Fora de Série" comedy programmes in the channel 2 of TPA television station.
