Angola: U.S. Naval Forces Commander Expected

Luanda — The commander of the US Naval Forces for Europe and Africa, admiral Mark Fitzgerald, will visit the country from November 15 to 18, ANGOP learnt this Friday from a press release of the USA embassy in Angola.

According to the source the top navy officer's visit aims at reinforcing bilateral ties and discuss about military cooperation.

During the visit, the admiral Mark Fitzgerald will meet with senior officials of the Angolan government in order to analyse the bilateral relations and reiterate USA's commitment to a more democratic, prosperous, safer and peaceful Angola.
