Luanda — Justino Fernandes, outgoing chairperson of the Angolan Football Federation (FAF), might be confirmed next November 28 for the second term at the helm of the organ in charge of the sport, after the approval this Friday here of the single list competing
to the elections at an extraordinary general-assembly.
Presided over by the chairman of the general assembly table, Manuel Vicente, the FAF meeting approved the changes to the statutes, reports and accounts, as well as the report of the previous meeting held on October 02.
Justino Fernandes, elected for the first mandate in 2001, in replacement of Armando Machado, is the current director of Organising Committee of the African Cup of Nations in football, which the country will host in 2010.
