Arusha — The Arusha Catholic Archdiocese run Saint Elizabeth Hospital Arusha (SEHA) will run special orthopedics operations in collaboration with visiting Belgian surgeons between November 8 and December 23, this year.
According to SEHA's Director Dr. Thomas Kway, patients from all over Tanzania will benefit from the operation.
Dr. Kway said SEHA has been regularly inviting experts from Europe to help out in various medical areas.
He said they have been working with the visiting experts and undertaking surgical operations free of charge for people with long illness that lacked immediate medical treatment.
In February this year, SEHA ran 90 free operation for people with hare-lip.
He said the coming operation will involve those who had bent limbs and would get the service free except for payment for hospital bed and drugs.
SEHA aims at availing unaffordable services to the needy people by inviting foreign experts to provide free services.
SEHA is a 100-bed charitable church hospital that attends over 80 out patients daily.
