Senafe — In line with the initiative taken by Eritrean nationals residing abroad to assist families of fallen heroes, about 630,000 Nakfa has been extended to a total of 127 families in different administrative areas of Senafe sub-zone.

The head branch of the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare in the Southern region, Mr. Yohannes Tesfai, pointed out that each family has received from 4,000 to 11, 000 Nakfa. He indicated that the assistance is vivid demonstration of the Eritrean people's respect to fallen heroes.

The Administrator of the sub-zone, Mr. Bereket Tekeste, stated on his part that the support extended by Eritrean citizens living abroad would provide additional impetus to the Government's effort towards improving the living standard of families of martyrs. He further expressed appreciation to the nationals for taking the initiative.
