Eritrea: Adi-Keih Sub-Zone - Water Reservoir Constructed in Demhina

15 November 2008

Adi-Keih — Members of the Bidho Construction Company alongside their active participation in the construction of the Egla-Foro road have constructed a water reservoir with a capacity of holding 100,000 cubic meters of water in Dirar-Mengo, Adi-Keih sub-zone.

Reports indicated that the reservoirs would play a significant role in easing the potable water supply problem the local inhabitants used to encounter. Moreover, the members dug a new well which would provide potable water to the inhabitants of Demhina.

In expression of their satisfaction with the task, the residents of Adi-Keih town hosted a luncheon to members of Bidho Construction Company and the Defense Force. Speaking on the occasion, the Administrator of the sub-zone, Mr. Kidane Abraha, noted the significance of the construction of Egla-Foro road in promoting the provision of social services to the nationals living along the eastern escarpments.
