Angola: Chairs Portuguese Speaking Lawyers Association

The chairman of the Angola Bar Association (OAA), Inglês Pinto, has been elected chairman of the Portuguese Lawyers Association (UALP), for the 2009/2010 period.

The information is contained in note that reached Angop on Monday.

The Angolan official was elected during the UALP general assembly, held in Rio Grande (Brazil), on the fringes of the 20th National Conference of the lawyers from Latin America countries, held from November 11-15.

Angola's delegation to the meeting included jurists Raúl Araújo, Luís Filipe Pizarro and Púlqueria Van-Dúnem.
