Kickoff (Cape Town)
17 November 2008
Despite Kaizer Chiefs' appeal against the decision made by the PSL Dispute Resolution Chamber (DRC), that Siphelele Mthembu's contract with Orlando Pirates is valid, the player can play for Pirates and is available for selection.
Mthembu has been training with Pirates and was available for selection for the Soweto Derby against Kaizer Chiefs, but was not selected.
Chiefs' appeal was postponed at the weekend by the Safa Appeals Board for another week, and until that decision is changed the player is available for selection.
